Hey kordbot lovers,

I am in need of your expertise with Midi connections and Kordbot using midi controller and audio interface. So I would like to have Kordbot Midi OUT to 2 synthesizer (IN), and 1 Midi controller (IN). So in this case  I would need a MIdi thru or a  Midi merger?

When I tried to connect Kordbot (OUT) to midi controller (IN) which is then to audio interface with the use of VSTs yet it doesn't generate any sounds in DAW or standalone VST modes. What could possibly be the cause?

will be great if some light can be shed on midi

thanks!

You will need a Thru Box, the merger Box is needed to get two (or more) Midi Outs summed into one Midi in...

I am not sure what exactly is your question...

You should connect Kordbots Midi Out to your Midi Interface (some audio Interfaces already have a Midi Port) IN, then you`ll have to make sure, Kordbot sends its notes on the same Midi Channel (1-16), that your Midi Track (in your DAW) is receiving Midi on...

If you connect your KordBot to another Controller (KB-Out-->Controller IN) you`ll have to make sure this Controller is passing the notes thru (some have Midi IN-Out-Thru ports, some let the notes on unused channels go thru Midi Out Port and some just sending their own notes, and you would have to go the "Thru and Merger Box Road"...

In KB you`ll have to check if your Midi Channel is set right and if the Midi PORT you`re using is set on.

 Hope that helps...
